Robert Parker, CPA, MBA, Manager

Robert brings a unique business perspective to all of his cases with the academic credentials of a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, a degree in accounting from Long Beach State University and the professional experience of a credentialed Certified Public Accountant and business consultant.

Robert’s accounting career began at Windes & McClaughry Accountancy Corporation and continued at Ernst & Young and PricewaterhouseCoopers.  His prestigious background has enabled Robert to become adept and proficient in the areas of personal, partnership, corporate, and payroll tax preparation and analysis, financial statement analysis, business valuation, and understanding cash flow as it relates to people and companies.

Immediately prior to joining Ron’s team, Robert worked as an independent for large accounting firms, serving different organizations from family run businesses to Fortune 500 companies.  He performed in a variety of roles related to accounting, problem resolution and forensic investigation.  Robert often helped medical practices identify and prevent office embezzlement, conducted financial investigations, and established safeguards and policies.

Robert has served as an integral member of the Ron J. Anfuso accounting firm team since 2012, practicing litigation support services under the direct supervision of Ron.  As of April 2015, Robert has worked on approximately 200 unique cases for the firm.  Under Ron’s tutelage, Robert’s forensic skills and knowledge have been honed in the areas of divorce mediation and litigation, while developing significant expertise in DissoMasterTM preparation, cash flow analysis, property apportionments, account apportionments, tracings, business valuation and asset and liability division.

Dawn Anfuso, Vice President of Administration

Ms. Anfuso is responsible for all administrative duties, including preparation of engagement letters, billing and collections, staff timekeeping and office upkeep.

In addition, Ms. Anfuso oversees document management.  This includes scanning, filing and inventorying all client documents, document storage and production, and proofreading all reports and declarations.  With an average caseload of approximately 100 cases at any given time, there is typically a tremendous amount of documentation that flows through the office, including that which needs to be archived.

As a former journalist with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from California State University Long Beach, Dawn works closely with our marketing consultant in producing, proofreading and distributing all of our marketing materials, from the website and blogs to newsletters and brochures.  She lends her talents to articles written by firm members, and coordinates and produces materials for Ron’s presentations and bar event exhibits.

Susan Olson, Staff Accountant

Sue has been in the forensic accounting field for 24 years and for the past 15, has provided valuable support to Ron and our clients.  Although she provides her assistance in a variety of areas, she focuses much of her efforts on tracings.

Sue studied accounting at El Camino College and has taken additional courses through UCLA Extension.  She is also currently taking courses in financial statement analysis.  Once complete, she plans to study to attain certification as a fraud examiner.  Her interest and skill in tracings has lead her to offer her skills to estate planning attorneys, in addition to attorneys who practice family law, to conduct probate/estate accounting tracings.
